So you have an idea...

When most of the so called "service providers" for inventors help out people with their inventions they deal mostly with the idea itself. I tend to focus first on the person and what they want to get from the experience. Money (how much?), fame, better job, new way of life, satisfaction from getting something to market. Some just want to see their item on the store shelf. In most amateur inventor cases the most important thing is eating. Having enough money to take care of your family. Paying the rent. Most of you get dollar signs in your eyes, just like the cartoons, when you start inventing. Conserving your cash and living to invent another day is the most important advice I give. Never blow all your money on one thing. If what you have to sell is so great, let somebody else fund it! Anyway, I will be happy to answer any questions that you have. Try to be specific. I can get very wordy if you don't.
